Eager Students on the Hunt for Easter Eggs

Student journalist Ben Stanley —

Over the span of two days, rocks hidden around the school were open for all students to find and exchange for an Easter egg.

On Tuesday 30 March and Wednesday 31 March, an Easter egg hunt was held for all student who wished to take part. Over 70 rocks were hidden throughout the school, between the top field and the front of the school. If you found a rock painted purple, this could be exchanged for a small egg; if you found a rock painted gold, this could be exchanged for a huge egg. Some were very lucky, finding a gold egg within the first minute, and some weren’t very lucky, spending their intervals and lunchtimes searching endlessly, only to turn out with nothing. Overall, it seemed widely well received by students.
