Congratulations to Nayland College Drama Company for outstanding results, especially Molly Clarke & Tyler Curtis who have qualified for the nationals!

The Regional Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival 2023 was hosted at Nayland College yesterday. Our students performed superbly, taking out the following awards:

Best 5 minute scene: Nayland College - Richard III – Molly Clarke and Tyler Curtis, directed by Sam Clark. 

Molly, Tyler and Sam have all qualified for the nationals!

Best History Scene: Nayland College - Richard III – Molly Clarke and Tyler Curtis, directed by Sam Clark.

Best Delivery of Lines: Nayland College – Molly Clarke.

Best Supporting Actor: Nayland College – Iris Moffat – Iris played the character Hero in Much Ado about Nothing. It is very rare for a Y9 student to win this award!

Best Example of a Team Performance: Nayland College - Julius Caesar. Directed by Freya Moffat and Tyler Curtis. Cast: Tia Cranefield, Uma Vij, Annabel Batt, Isla Swanney, Rosmary Leighton, Thora Moffat, Ciara McLellan, Emmogen Brown, Romeo Scott, and Skye Hay.
