Senior students had the opportunity to sign up for an exciting range of Taster Sessions at NMIT during the week 27 June - 1 July.

NMIT offered free half-day taster sessions of their courses which many Nayland College students attended.  Gaining hands-on knowledge of career options from 26 different courses on offer, they ranged from: Aquaculture to Winemaking, Aviation to Business, Automotive to Horticulture, Joinery to Interior Design, IT to Cookery, Beauty Therapy to Nursing and many others, which can all be studied here in Nelson/Tasman/Blenheim.

Taster Days will be repeated in October - senior students should keep an eye on school notices and their email to sign up promptly as all secondary schools are invited.
