Year 12 Hollie Mckay, Ariana McGee and Year 9 Ivy Toa represented Te Waipounamu wahine team, in Nelson during Labour Weekend 21 - 24 October

Our students were honoured for the opportunity to play alongside adult players who provided them with knowledge, support and enjoyment. Four games were played during the weekend ensuring they had plenty of game time.

The girls were grateful for the unity of the team, as many of the players had been playing in this tournament for several years. Next years tournament will be in Wellington, where they each hope to be selected.

These three girls have a bright future with Nelson Hockey!
