A huge congratulations to Iris Moffat, Diksha Mahajan, Sam Cheyne and Scarlett O’Connor for their win at the recent Nelson Junior Theatresports competition.

Under the team name “Baked Hippopotamuses,” the students had to tackle three improv challenges in front of a live audience. Teams were marked on how well they followed the improv commandments of making and accepting offers, being brave and positive, helping others to look good, creating stories people care about, and putting the theatre into theatresports. Points were also awarded for pure entertainment.

Aldo Horring, Amber McKnight and Lucah Smith put in a fantastic effort, coming in third place as “The Dream Team.”
