At the end of Term 2, to wrap up the end of our half year module of Animal Behaviour and Welfare, we had a visit from Sergeant Craig Moore and two of his four legged friends. Sergeant Moore is the supervisor of the Tasman Dog Section for the Police, and we were fortunate to have him share his knowledge and experience with our class.

Students got to hear about the training that goes into becoming a fully-fledged police dog, how these dogs are cared for, and see first-hand what these dogs are capable of!
