Summer Uniform Standards

Nayland College —

With hot weather and the end of the year looming we ask that all parents work together with the school to ensure that all students are maintaining correct Nayland College uniform.

The Nayland College uniform looks great when it is worn correctly and with pride.  It gives our students a sense of belonging and creates an identity for the school in the community.

Attached to this article are the junior and senior uniform guidelines for reference.

Below are some general reminders and clarifications from the senior leadership team:

  • Uniform pants/trousers/shorts/skirts must be official Nayland College uniform.
  • Black jeans, track pants etc. are not acceptable, only official shorts/skirts and trousers should be worn
  • Plain black jackets must have sleeves
  • Shoes should be black (a small logo is acceptable)
  • Scuffs or Slip on sandals are not acceptable.  Enclosed shoes must be worn in the schools labs, kitchens and workshops.

If for any reason your child cannot wear the correct uniform they must have a note and log in at the Student Centre to be issued a uniform pass.  In many instances the school can also assist with uniform.
