Each year we invite students who are new to Nayland Years 10-13 as well as those who are new Year 9 students from outside our main contributing schools, to join us at interval on the front lawn.

Our picnics are arranged in year groups and run by our newly trained Year 13 Cottage Contacts and the Counselling department. The purpose is to assist our new students in their transition to Nayland College in any way we can, and for them to connect with each other. We provide a platter of fruit and water, students just need to show up.

Interval picnics are held on the front lawn, scheduled as below:

Monday 10 February: Students new to Year 13

Wednesday 12 February: Students new to Year 12

Monday 17 February: Students new to Year 11

Wednesday 19 February: Students new to Year 10

Monday 24 February: Students new to Nayland at Year 9 who are not from our main contributing schools.
