Dust off the boots girls!

Whakatū Girls Rugby Trust —

Calling all U18 (13-18) girls in the Tasman & Marlborough areas. Time to start thinking about the 2023 season. Join us at the WGRT Seniors Pop-Up CAmp on Sunday 12 February 10am - 2pm at Greenmeadows. Lunch provided!

Kia ora and happy New Year from Whakatū Girls Rugby Trust!

We are running a pop-up camp for our SSG Girls who are planning to play rugby this year. This is a great chance for them to dust the boots off and switch gears to move into the preseason with their school/club teams. We will be holding this camp at Stoke Rugby Club, Greenmeadows. We have thorough and extensive health and safety and child safeguarding policies and procedures, which are available to view upon requested. The girls will be coached and guided by our WGRT coaches, plus additional help we have arranged for the day. We would like to invite any of our SSG coaches to join in if they’d like.

Details for the day are listed below. Please note, scholarships are always available, as are boots or other kit if needed. The link for registration is https://www.eventbrite.co.nz/e/wgrt-pop-up-camp-ages-13-18-year-9-13-registration-527580235687. Early registration is helpful for catering and planning purposes, but not required. It’d be great to see lots of our SSG girls there for a run around together.

If you have girls that are interested in playing rugby, learning about becoming a referee, or wanting to be involved in team management or other aspects of the game, please send them our way and we can help with direction or development and maybe both😊.
