A message from Nelson Coachlines to bus users.

We have just gotten word that the Brightwater Road works has been delayed by one day. The Wakefield run in Brightwater will operate as below.

The Lansdowne works has been delayed in starting by a day but we will still operate as below for Mot 3 from tomorrow for the rest of this week.

Wakefield

River Terrace Road and Ellis Street Brightwater - closures 31 Oct - 1 Nov

The Tasman Alliance is doing asphalting work on River Terrace Road and Ellis Street in Brightwater on Monday 31 October and Tuesday 1 November between 7am and 7pm (weather dependant). While this work is taking place, these two roads will be closed. A detour for Ellis Street will be via Lord Rutherford Road North, and a detour for River Terrace Road will be via Factory Road. Please follow the detour signage and our team's direction.

We will be doing the below detour so students that normally get on opp. Brightwater school will need to make their way to Wanderers Rugby hall (0738) and will be dropped back here in the afternoons.

Mot 3

Lansdowne Road and Lower Queen Street - closures 2-4 November

The Tasman Alliance is resealing at the intersection of Lansdowne Road and Lower Queen Street in Richmond from Wednesday 2 to Friday 4 November between 7am and 7pm (weather dependant). Sections of the road will be fully closed, as shown below.

There will be a detour in place via McShane Road and Swamp Road (see map below). Businesses and residents in the Bells Island and Lower Queen Street area will still be able to access their properties during this time. 

This doesn’t affect any pick ups or drop off but we will be using McShane Road then Lower Queen Street to get to and from the A&P Lower Queen Street stop.
