Message from Acting Principal Trevor Olley

Trevor Olley —

Dear Parents,

It was a great feeling to have the school back together on Tuesday for an assembly round. The mass gathering was a real indicator of getting back to 'normal.'

Saturday sport is starting this weekend and we had our first House event today. Although our primary emphasis remains as teaching and learning, these are all important aspects of school life.

Our SOAR value this term is 'Opportunity' and it is nice to be finally able to offer the range of opportunities Nayland is reknown for. It is also great to see Nayland College students taking the opportunity to be positive role models in our community.

Thank you for encouraging your child to take the opportunity to 'catch up' on their work during the Friday afternoon sessions. These are proving valuable and I would like to take this opportunity to publically thank our staff for making themselves available to support the students.

We are looking forward to seeing many of you at our parent-teacher interviews on Thursday 2 July.

Warm regards,

Trevor Olley
