The ‘Junior Stretch and Challenge’ day is tailored to extend students in Years 7-10.

Nayland College is very excited to once again be hosting this event on Wednesday 14th August.  

The aim of this day is to help students to:

• Improve their thinking skills
• Begin to be able to identify what is fundamental from what is trivial
• Become intellectually creative
• Identify assumptions and distinguish between good and poor arguments
• Think systematically and rigorously about relevant modern-day issues

Nelson is the only ‘small city’ on the Academy Conferences tour of Australia and New Zealand. We are looking forward to another challenging and thought provoking day at Nayland College on Wednesday 14th August.
