Nayland College English Department presents the first annual publication of student writing - Blank Page Vol 1: Giants in the Playground.

Student writing at Nayland College is an ever-evolving art form. Every day, students show us their creativity and their courage in many forms, not least of which in their writing.

The imagination, awareness and strong sense of who they are and what they want their world to be gives us an immense sense of admiration and hope.

In this, our first publication of student writing at Nayland College, students submitted writing in any form and on any subject. You will read poems, reviews, essays and stories created with strong, independent and deeply thoughtful voices.

For $20 you will read writing from over 50 student writers. These will make perfect gifts for your whānau this holiday season. The small amount of proceeds will go towards continuing to support our student writers in 2023.

To own this first edition copy of what we hope will be a long running publication, please order through our Business Centre here at school. For orders between 7-14 December, please pay and collect from the Business Centre (closed after 14 December). After this, copies will be available in 2023.
