On the 15th of September a room full of teams were intently answering questions posed by quiz master (and coach) Brendan Crichton. They were all there to support the Senior ‘A’ Girls Volleyball team.

Thanks to the support of many local businesses each of the teams had plenty of opportunity to win some amazing prizes. And, for the teams that were struggling to keep up with the Nayland English teachers quiz skills, there were plenty of silent auction items up for grabs..

The volleyball team is off to Melbourne in December to compete in the Australian Schools Cup. The team has been planning and fundraising for this trip for over a year and the quiz was their major fundraising event, earning over $5,000 towards team costs.

The team would like to thank everyone who supported the event by coming along on the night, as well as all of the businesses who made the night so successful.
