Taku Kara Tipuna - Kapa Haka Regionals
Well done to Pūaha Te Tai kapa haka rōpu who put in so many hours preparing and rehearsing, and came third in the competition on Friday 14 July.
This was a young group, made up of mostly junior students. They worked so hard to get to their bracket to a level worthy of a regional competition and we are super proud. It is always pleasing to see our students confident and proud to be who they are and to represent their hapū, iwi, and school with pride.
Quinn Taylor-Martell (Year 9) was named second equal Lead Tane which is an outstanding achievement!
A massive congratulations to you all and huge thanks to the Kaiako and Kapa Haka Tutors for their support and mahi.
Thank you also to Melissa Banks Photographer for the amazing photos!
