Silvan Forest, Richmond - 22 March 2017

Nayland College entered 12 mountain bike riders in the Tasman Secondary Schools Mountain Biking Championships held at Silvan Forest. The event attracted 180 riders from across the region on what was very warm conditions. The students represented Nayland very well with the highlights being Josh Ryan placing 2nd in the Under 19 Boys Cross Country race and 3rd overall across both disciplines and Amber Werensteyn 3rd in the Under 19 Girls Cross Country race and 4th overall. All twelve students raced the downhill course with Amber achieving the best placing of 4th.
