Maths is the music of reason! Young mathematicians from the Nelson/Tasman region gathered in the Nayland College hall for the 20th edition of Nelsomathix on Wednesday 26 June.

This competition puts mathematically based questions to teams of four students, with the quickest problem solvers coming out on top, as they race each other and the clock for the ultimate glory of becoming Nelsomathix champions.

We had 69 teams / 276 students/ 26 teams competing this year.  As always, the competition was fierce and the students were on their games.
