Uniform guidelines

Nayland College Official —

Dear parents/caregivers

First of all, thank you to all our students who arrive at school each day in the correct uniform, ready for their learning. If you are unsure of our uniform guidelines, please see the attached document.

Nayland College has a huge array of uniform items and has a very flexible uniform policy. Our goal is to work with families to assist students to not only have correct uniform, but also to arrive at school on time and have the correct gear for learning. This is not a punitive process, but rather an educational one. We believe that our approach assists students to be more self-managing and better prepared for the workplace.

As part of this educational process, students who arrive at school wearing an incorrect uniform will be referred to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

We totally understand if students do not have correct uniform items from time to time. SLT will issue uniform passes in these instances (please provide a note). In many instances we can also loan or purchase items for students to assist.
