JOLA BURNS make RockQuest Top 10

Nayland College Year 13 student Kahu Sanson-Burnett is one half of musical duo 'JOLA BURNS', who have just been announced as one of the Top 10 National Finalists for Smokefree Rockquest. Parallel Park will also be playing at the finals as a guest band.

On Saturday 16 September, Kahu Sanson-Burnett and Alyahna Sanson-Rejouis, the duo behind 'JOLA BURNS,' will perform at the Q Theatre in Auckland (Tamaki Makaurau) and compete against the other nine selected acts in the final stage of the competition. Congratulations Kahu and Alyahna! We're cheering you on and wishing you all the best as you prepare for the finals!

'Parallel Park' were awarded 'Highly Commended' by the national judges and the band have been invited to play as guests on the night. A massive well done to Kahu Sanson-Burnett, Maisie Lucas, Zac Irving, Ethan Carde and Florence McNabb!
