Commitment and determination pay off for Nayland College Girls Basketball Team

Earlier in the season the team experienced some ups and downs. They showed commitment and determination and have developed into a team to watch out for. Prior to the final of the Nelson competition the Nayland Girls played Waimea A team on 3 occasions. Losing twice and winning a game by just 1 point. They met this team once again in the final. It was a tough game, both teams wanting the win, however Nayland remained focused, gained momentum and took the win in great style winning by 20 points.
