IOS students performing over the holidays

Abbe West —

Y9 and Y10 pupils were competing all over the country (and internationally) for a wide range of sports. We are incredibly proud of their results which are a true reflection of their mahi, dedication and discipline.

One of the Institute of Sport’s aims is to increase the motivation of players and develop their tactical and strategic thinking along with skill/fitness development. We think this snippet of results shows how the programme continues to support our high achieving sports people.

Y10 A Netball Team – 2nd place at the South island Netball Championships.

This is an amazing improvement on the teams performance in 2021. Eight of the girls in the team are IOS members.
