In the September holidays 18 students from the Level 3 Geography class went on a fieldtrip to the Gold Coast for eights days. 

The students will sit a four credit external exam about a cultural process they have studied. The cultural process we study is tourism development and the environment we focus on is the Gold Coast. 

The purpose of the fieldtrip was for students to experience tourism on the Gold Coast to better their understanding of where tourist attractions are on the Gold Coast.

We visited all the theme parks and shopping centres as well as having educational talks from Gold Coast Council and Dreamworld.
