The students from The Learning Centre have weekly Lifeskills classes where they learn to deal with everyday situations that they may encounter throughout their lives.

The class sometimes get help from the 'Kidpower, Teenpower, Fullpower' team (www.kidpower.org.nz) who go through real-life scenarios such as bullying, manners and asking for help. The coping strategies learnt are very useful and a bit of fun along the way.
