The Nelson region Torpedo 7 Get 2 Go Hillary Outdoors Junior Adventure Racing competition was held last Friday, and fielded a Nayland team for the first time in a few years. These eight keen adventurers mountain biked a circuit at Moturoa, paddled boarded a twisty course in a lake, then orienteered their way around controls hidden in the trees and clearings of Moturoa.

The biking competition was close, the paddle boarding not so close, and the Nayland team were stars in the orienteering being first equal with their whole team completing the course well under the time limit! They enjoyed their day and were great ambassadors for Nayland.
