My journey includes Palmerston North, Wellington, London (Covent Garden) Oxford (England), Nadi, Mt Maunganui, New Plymouth and Blenheim.

Why did you decide to be a teacher

Curiosity. A mad moment? I guess I enjoy working with tamariki

What do you like about teaching, and teaching at Nayland specifically?

I enjoy watching that ah ha moment - the connect. Also, all the fun games, thinking strategies and active pedagogy we can do through learning. Nayland specifically - awesome, caring and supportive team. This includes the wonderful Learning Assistants. They really make life at Nayland entertaining.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Outdoor adventures, travelling, visiting my children and being with our pets. Oh and learning Te Reo, but not getting very far with it.
