Really close and good game of Basketball on Thursday night with Nayland taking the lead for a good portion of the game.

After the first quarter Waimea started to close the gap and then for the majority of the game there was little between the two teams. With five minutes to go the game was tied. Then with one minute to go Waimea crept ahead to take the lead by one point. Three more points were gained in the final seconds and they won the game. A very close fought game by all and a really good team effort. Next time boys!
