Tenure: Full-Time Permanent

Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Principal, the Business Manager has responsibility for the College's financial management, payroll oversight, property and grounds management and aspects of human resources.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Financial Management and Reporting

  • Property Management

  • Leadership of administration staff

  • Governance and Compliance

Qualifications and Experience
Desirable requirements of the position

  • Understanding of the intricacies of business and financial management in the New Zealand educational setting

  • A tertiary qualification in business or finance is desirable

  • Superior computer literacy skills including experience with most Microsoft packages and accounting packages – such as Xero  

  • Experience with managing staff

  • Excellent listening skills, a friendly and calm personality with the ability to relate comfortably to a wide variety of people

Remuneration and Employment Conditions
Remuneration, duties and conditions will be as per the Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement 2014-2016, but negotiated with suitable applicant.
