End of year packages

Pippa Sussex —

This year, a group of students are putting together parcels for families struggling financially within our school community. This is a way for the people at Nayland college to reach out to and provide for those who need it most.

Christmas can be a difficult time for families who can’t afford to celebrate in the same way as most of us.

This project also reaches families who don't celebrate Christmas, as it is just a kind gesture from the school community, helping to look out for them as we wrap up the school year and head into the school holidays.

Donations are vital for ensuring this project reaches those who need it, so we ask you, students, parents or staff to help out by bringing donations to the business centre. Anything from toys, sports equipment, books, art supplies, science experiments, self-care items, to food, is appreciated, gifts for people of all genders and ages. We want to help make their school holidays enjoyable and be there as a school to support those who need it.

All donations can be dropped at the business centre at the front of the school. Donations of money are also appreciated, and can be made into the account: 12-3165-0342600-54. Please ensure that you use the reference: ‘End of year packages.’

We really appreciate all the participation we’ve had in the past and ask that those who can, play their small part to make a big difference for families in need.
