Students take action with mufti day

Nayland College Official —

The Nayland College Level 1 Sociology class has organised a mufti day to be held on Friday 12 June. Zoe Jurgeleit, a member of the class, explains what the mufti day is for and how families can contribute.

We are taking social action to help students and families struggling financially due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. We ask students to bring a gold coin donation and food items that are packaged or canned.

This will be going towards our social action to help families and individuals in need in this time of crisis. We would really appreciate any type of donation. The main office will also welcome food or monetary donations from the public.

We really appreciate any donations – however we are in desperate need of the following items:

  • Muesli bars

  • Canned fruit and vegetables

  • Potatoes

  • Flour

  • Milk powder

  • Pasta

  • Canned or packet soup

  • Other packaged essentials
