This term the students have been learning about what it means to be a good coach/leader. This has included learning how to plan, implement, and evaluate a leadership session with the aim of developing interpersonal skills of Year 3-5 students at Birchwood Primary.

The Year 10 students did a great job of engaging, building relationships with, and teaching their group of students. The students at Birchwood enjoyed having older students to interact and learn from. In saying that, the Year 10 students got just as much out of this experience.

Our students represented our school with pride and it was great to see some ex-Birchwood students return to their old kura. Thank you to Birchwood Primary for working with us to re-establish a connection between both schools again.
