The Learning Centre students had a trip to Blenheim on Wednesday 13 March to participate in the Special Olympics swimming competition.

The students had a great day, with a number of placings being received and a highlight for the learning support class was the relay team placing second.

The trip itself held special significance for another reason, as it was the first visit ever to Blenheim for a some of the students.

The competition finished with the students performing the Nayland College Haka, which is now a tradition for the event.

Learning Centre HOLA, Chris Baillie reported that,
"...  all the students did us proud!"
