Nelson Aviation Centenary Play - feat. Matthew Edgar

Nayland College —

Don't miss this play featuring one of our very own and very talented young actors! See the attached poster.

The story of the first ever plane flight into Nelson in 1921, by transport pioneer Tom Newman and his pilot, Shorty Fowler on 11 November 1921. This short historical play with a tinge of comedy pays tribute to the pioneering spirit of both men on the 100 year anniversary of the flight, and in almost the exact spot where the flight came down.

Written by Justin Eade, directed by Giles Burton, and performed by Pete Coates and Matthew Edgar.

Shows 2pm & 7pm at Greenmeadows Centre 10th to 13th November. Tickets only $10 from
