Māori students who are serious about a career in Health can apply to attend a 3 day work placement at Nelson Hospital Monday 27- Wednesday 29 March 2023

Kia Ora Hauora are excited to offer a 3 day Hospital Work Placement Programme in conjunction with Nelson Hospital, Te Whatu Ora Nelson Marlborough

Work place exposure is designed to promote the diversity of health career pathways by providing an opportunity for students to see firsthand what Kaimahi (health workers) encounter on a day to day basis within different areas of the Nelson Hospital.  Students who take part in the programme will gain access to information, including scholarships and tertiary options for further study

Open to Year 12 or 13 Maori students aged 16+.  Must be able to attend the three days from 9.00am to 4.00pm and have their own transport to/from Nelson Hospital.
