The Nelson Half - Sunday 3 November 2019
The Nelson Half is into its third year of the ‘giving back to schools’ programme and it would be great to spread the word throughout the community.
It is widely recognised that exercise is important for both physical and mental wellbeing and this initiative provides an avenue for communities to encourage participation for the benefit of all.
A portion of every entry fee can be donated to Nayland College, you need do nothing but encourage entrants to nominate us! At the conclusion of the event, they will send through the funds generated through our nominations.
In the first two years over $10 000 was distributed for schools throughout Nelson to put to good use. Subsidising camps, playground equipment, sports uniforms and the like.
