As part of our year 10 sustainability unit this term, two social studies classes took the opportunity to participate in an activity to pick up rubbish and connect with the surrounding environment.

Students were shocked at the amount and variety of rubbish they found; everything from plastic to a camping stove were collected. This term students will continue to build their knowledge surrounding this issue and engage in further social action in our community.
