At the end of November Year 10 students took part in a huge selection of end of year activities put on for them by Nayland staff.

On Tuesday 4th December, a Year 9 PE/H class held a fundraiser for our inquiry unit. They held a bake sale, while bringing dogs to pet to fundraise for the SPCA.

Last week, Nayland College’s Year 10 Intensives took place, one of which was the highly anticipated waka ama journey.

It was an honour to host this event earlier this week on behalf of Te Kahui Ako o Omaio ki Tahunanui, or the Stoke-Tahunanui Community of Learning.

Seven Nayland College students have recently trained to become surf lifeguards at the Nelson surf lifesaving club. The six-week training includes both theory and practical components.
