Over the first four days of September, the Nayland College Junior A Basketball team competed in the South Island Secondary Schools Basketball competition held in Nelson. Teams from schools from all around the South Island made their way up to the top!

The performing arts department welcomed a new performing arts coordinator at the beginning of term two. Nelson native Laura Rolfe joins Nayland after some years of juggling teaching ballet and jazz classes with the raising of her two daughters, now nine and eleven.
