Broadgreen's Room 19 class visited Nayland College this week to gift beautifully handcrafted poi toa that students have made during their Healthy Active Learning sessions run by Sport Tasman.

Last week the Level 3 Psychology students spent their day in the hall collecting data for their research projects.

One of the five ways to wellbeing is 'connect.' As part of their learning and assessment, the Level 1 Health class spent one of their lessons connecting with and engaging with students from the Learning Support Centre this week.

For the second year running, Nayland College has hosted a Student Leadership Forum at Pūtangitangi Greenmeadows Centre for aspiring leaders from around our region to connect, learn and grow their leadership capabilities.

On Wednesday 13 March, senior Dance students were treated to a special workshop taught by Jordana Arnold, Dance Educator for the Royal New Zealand Ballet.

Nayland College students have had a busy start to term one, with our Outdoor Education classes ticking off camping, kayaking and first aid courses already this year. Our international students have also been busy with another West Coast adventure.

Two of our former students Dana Costello and Sophie Hampston have been making headlines this week for achievements in their chosen career paths. We love to hear about our alumni and how they're making out in the world!

New to Nayland teacher Eva Bak, is also new to teaching. We love her passion to not only develop and make amazing food, but also to make a difference in the lives of young people. Today we find out a little more about Eva.

Both Bromells Coachlines and SBL (Nelson Coachlines) have advised us of changes that are to take effect from 3 April. More details below and attached.
