Kōwhai children have been very busy over the last two weeks.

We have been lucky to be able to visit the Nelson Museum to learn about Huria Matenga with Whaea Kelly. 

We also went to the Suter Art Gallery where we learned about moko kanohi and began to draw our own designs to represent our whānau.

Nick from Sport Tasman has been supporting us with our Athletics and so far we have learned the correct throwing techniques for discus and shot put.

We are very fortunate to have so many amazing opportunities at our kura!
