Today we farewell Sally Kanene (nee Russ) who is moving to Auckland with her family. Sally has been an integral part of our staff for fourteen years.

Sally has taught throughout our kura over all those years, largely in Tōtara and Kahikatea syndicates and has been a leader in our school both at curriculum and syndicate level.

Many students will remember being in Sally's class for her caring nature and highly engaging learning programmes. Sally's creativity and sense of fun will be missed by her colleagues, as well. 

We wish Sally, Mark and Subira all the best in their new home, and look forward to seeing her when she comes back to visit.
