Guitar Lessons with Bo starting again

On Wednesday Bo came to share his awesome looping and guitar skills with us. Lots of the children got up for a dance, and many were keen to find out more about Bo's lessons.

Bo will be running guitar lessons again for students on a Wednesday. Some children brought home a notice about this yesterday, but if they missed out and are keen, please see details below.

Central School Guitar Lessons Does your child show an interest in learning to play the guitar? This year we will offer group lessons at $10 per half hour lesson. The guitar tutors name is Bo. He is an accredited guitar tutor for the Nelson School of Music and is also a professional musician by trade. Bo offers lessons both in and out of school hours and provides a substantial discount to Central School for in-school lessons. Lessons will be held during class time, or outside school hours by agreement with Bo. In-school lessons will be on Wednesday Afternoons. If your child is unable to make a lesson, no refund will be given. Payment will need to be made per term in advance of the first lesson (or by arrangement with the guitar tutor). Please pay directly to the guitar tutor or leave your payment in a clearly labelled envelope with the Central School office staff.

Costs are as follows:

Term 2: $80 for 8 lessons;

Term 3: $80 for 8 lessons;

Term 4: $80 for 8 lessons.

Every student must:

● Have a guitar - these can be made available through school on a first in first served basis

● Have a clear-file to keep music in

● Agree to practice at home each week

Bo’s details are: Mobile number: 027 722 1818

Bank account number: 01-0702-0219437-01

This is an arrangement between each guitar student's whanau and Bo, the guitar tutor, and is not part of the curriculum.
