Going dotty in the library

Some of the children have been helping to brighten up the corridor outside the library by making art inspired by the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama.

They have also been creating a mini - version of her famous 'obliteration room' by adding a coloured sticker to the wall each time they visit the library with their class. The space is definitely becoming more colourful and fun!

Returning Books

We often have to collect books that have been accidentally returned to the public library. This week we collected several discontinued books that were given away at the end of last year. Please check your public library returns carefully to make sure they aren't books from school! The Nelson Central School barcode can be found on the back of the book. If this has been crossed out in black then it is a discontinued book and shouldn't be returned. Thank you!
