Notice of AGM

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the NetNZ Charitable Trust and NetNZ Limited will be held at 4.00 pm on Wednesday, 2 June 2021. This AGM is an online meeting will be held using Google Meet. Please email the board chair with your attendance.

Leadership Forum

The formal AGM will be followed by a leadership forum on what the future holds for our schools over the next few years. There will be a focus on the current agreement with the Ministry of Education, its implications and the opportunities. The floor will then be open for any other discussion. We encourage our schools to ensure a member of the SLT is present.

Call for Remits

I hereby call for remits to be considered by the AGM. All remits need to be received by the NetNZ Administrator, sent either by email to ken@netnz.org or mail to 25 Glendermid Close, Dunedin, to arrive by 5pm on Wednesday 19 May 2021. This is in order for remits to be listed as items of business in the notice of the agenda, which must be sent to all members by Friday, 21 May 2021.

Call for Candidates for Election Trustee/Director

Constitutionally each of the elected Board Trustee/Directors stands down from their position three years after appointment (but may offer themselves for re-election). This year’s vacancy is for the Trustee/Director representing Personnel (NetNZ teachers and eDeans). Additionally, one of the current Trustees representing School Leadership has resigned.There will therefore be an election in conjunction with the AGM to fill TWO vacancies among the elected Trustees/Directors. To nominate a candidate use this online form. The election for these positions will be carried out online the week prior to the AGM, with the successful candidates declared at the AGM.
