This course focuses on the Accounting Receivable (AS 91179 – 3 credits) and Inventory subsystems (AS 91386 – 3 credits) in Accounting. What amount of money is owed by debtors to your business? How important is this information to your business? How does an inventory system work and why is it important? Level 1 Accounting is a pre-requisite.

 Requirements

Book 2 - Fraser High School Workbook and ESA Learning Workbook Level 2 Accounting.

Assessment

Both standards are internally assessed throughout the term.

Inventory subsystems (AS 91386 – 3 credits)

About the Teacher

Lynda Duncan teaches at Northern Southland College in Lumsden. There she teaches Accounting and a Career Ready course. Lynda is heavily involved in Highland Dancing where she is the National Association's secretary. She also travels the country adjudicating. Husband Wayne and two university daughters keep her busy and broke!
