Course: Economic growth and Government Policies (NCEA L2 - Economics)

Economics is the subject that specializes in understanding how economics concepts and models provides a means of analysing contemporary New Zealand issues.

This course aims to enable students to:
- analyse unemployment and inflation using economic concepts and models.
- understand how government policies and contemporary issues interact.

Requirements

In this course, the participating students will be required to keep their eyes and ears open to make the connections between economic theory and the real world.
Anyone wanting to take this course will need to fully participate in the video conference once a week.

Assessment

This is a NCEA Level 2 course which means that you will be assessed under the following standards.
91224 Analyse Economic growth using economic concepts and models, (External) (4 credits)
91227 Analyse how government policies and contemporary economic issues interact. (Internal) (6 credits)

About the Teacher

Mrs. Yang has been teaching Level Two Economics with NetNZ for the last three years . She is a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
She is very involved in the church and help to take children's meetings.
