YES challenges your students to form a small business with fellow students. Each YES company will create a product or service, which they will bring to market. Through the programme, your students will learn about concepts such as idea generation, business planning, finance, marketing and production.

Requirements

Schools need to be prepared to fund transport to Christchurch and possible accommodation at three points during the year. Term 1, Term 2 and Term 3.

Assessment

Various challenges and deadlines are created by the YES foundation that will enable students to earn micro-credentials. NCEA standards will be developed through the process and finalised in Term 4.

Kia ora, and welcome to the YES programme. My name is Phil Biddlecombe and I will be your majority shareholder this year. I live in Hawarden, North Canterbury. I teach Music and Performing Arts at Hurunui College.
