NZPF CONFERENCE 2025

New Zealand Principal's Federation —

Registrations are open for this year's NZPF Conference: Tākina Te Hau!

This year's event will be held in the windy and beautiful Te Whanganui-a-Tara, Wellington, from the 8th to 10th of September 2025.

The conference themes and speakers will be centred around the meaning embodied in the conference title - Tākina Te Hau. This title references the unique and diverse winds that Wellington is famous for. The winds are sometimes raging, sometimes soft, welcoming, and calm, but they teach us to treasure and welcome diversity, uniqueness, and change. They are a metaphor for magic, exuberance, sharing and ideas, and they carry things forward.

The focus of this year's conference will be on harnessing the winds of change and developing leadership strategies for turbulent times. Speakers will focus on ways principals can leverage the energy and direction of each of the four winds to effectively lead schools through periods of change, uncertainty, and transformation.

Don't miss this great PLD opportunity as we have plenty in store for you, including various international speakers such as bestselling author Barbara Coloroso and business futurist Gihan Perera. To view the full line up of speakers, take a look at the website here.

This opportunity is now open for senior leaders, as well as New Zealand principals. Be sure to get your registrations in quick, and we look forward to welcoming you all in September!
