Newlands College entries have made it through to the national DanceNZ Made final competition.

Over two days of dancing at the DanceNZ Made regional competition, Newlands College dancers came away with the following results:

Year 9 solo champion - Jade Tufele

Year 9 2nd runner up - Lucy Patience 

Year 10 solo champion - Charlotte Brown

Year 10 1st runner up - Lucy Foy

Year 12 solo champion - Alyssa Narayanan

Year 12 1st runner up - Benny Fogarty

The Newlands College solo qualifiers for the National DanceNZ Made competition are:

For the group performances, the Lyrical Troop (June) - 2nd runner up in the open teams category and 2nd runner up for overall highest scoring team of the night.

Additionally, Benny Fogarty, Jade Tufele, Charlotte Brown and Dani Steel won a golden ticket entry to the national finals.

Jade Tufele was selected to perform the workshop dance by herself in front of everyone.
