From Kuching to Sepilok, the rainforest to the night markets. Thirteen people from our school had the opportunity to visit Borneo through a World Challenge-organised trip. We had the chance to trek through the rainforest and sightsee in the cities. We even got the chance to see Orangutans and Bornean Sun Bears!

While being a normal tourist was fun, we also left our mark on the island. We spent time in a local village and helped out with various tasks. This included doing a beach clean-up, making concrete for pathways, and playing games with the kids. We ended the trip with a better understanding of how different countries work, and with exciting stories to tell our friends and family about.
