Perfect scorching weather was enjoyed at this year's tabloids.

An array of kikorangi, kōwhai, kākāriki, and whero sprawled about the Newlands College field.

The year levels split up and competed to gain both winning and participation points all for the glory of being the winners of Tabloids 2025!

That is until... the rain.

However this did not overly dampen the high spirits and enthusiasm that we saw in our afternoon house meetings. Knowing the relays were around the corner allowed the four houses to be united and reflect on the fun times everyone had that day.

And with the relay this Thursday, the results are in:

1st Place - Kowhai

2nd Place - Rimu

3rd Place - Totara

4th Place - Matai
